Solmiza grew out of a real, still unfinished apprenticeship: learning harmony on the guitar from scratch, as an adult, without a regular private teacher. Most of the material out there teaches chords on their own or scales on their own, and never ties the two together on the neck in a way that makes sense while playing.

So Solmiza ties the theory to the neck: the chord, the key and the scale show up where the hand will play them. The same idea comes back in other keys and other places on the neck, so memorizing the answer does not help. And when an answer comes out wrong, the correction shows why, with the same rule the question asked about.

Brazilian Portuguese comes first because it is the language of the people learning with it today.
